Afforestation - Batilly-en-Puisaye (Loiret)

The Project

 The plots are old pastures previously used for an equestrian center. They should be turned now to welcome a new forest for a landscape and forest project.

• Plantation of sessile Oak and various species of trees : forest fruit trees for biodiversity (birds, deers). The Sessile Oak is a species tolerant environment with unfavorable water balance, more tolerant to drought than other species of Oak.

Departement of Loiret

Batilly-en-Puisaye is located in the south-Est of the Loiret. The village is in the heart of the agricultural region of the Puisaye, a natural region close to the Orléanais, the Bourgogne et the Nivernais. It welcomes forests and plenty of lakes, taking place in little wet and green valleys. This region is also covered by several rivers, including the Ousson, affluant of Loire crossing the village of Dammarie-en-Puisaye.
